About the Project

Arcenciel is an independent ambient music project created by Marcel Arcenciel, where music and visual art are developed as one inseparable experience.

Rather than creating music first and adding visuals afterwards, every release begins as an idea for an entire world. Sound, artwork and atmosphere evolve together throughout the creative process, allowing every chapter to become an immersive environment rather than simply a collection of songs.

Inspired by forgotten architecture, endless depths and the quiet passage of time, Arcenciel explores places that exist somewhere between memory and imagination. Ancient ruins, drifting light and vast underwater landscapes serve not as destinations, but as invitations—encouraging every listener to discover their own meaning within the experience.

Arcenciel is the personal creative project of Marcel Arcenciel.

With a background in visual design and digital art, he combines atmospheric music with original artwork and animation, creating every aspect of the project independently. Rather than treating visuals as promotional material, they are considered an essential part of each release—designed to expand the emotional experience beyond sound alone.
